On to Mooshu!

Well, Alex and Danielle pulled it off. We talked to Sherlock Bones in the Royal Museum to start the chase around 9pm, and walked triumphantly out of Big Ben just before 2am. The Counterweights were estimated to take an hour and a half each, and the system said to allow two hours for the main tower. I dinged level 35 near the top of the East tower so we took a break after it while I upgraded.

First I headed for the Krokosphinx to give Niles my new training point, picking up Elemental Traps. (I already had the Blades.) Then I popped home to raid the Shared Bank for any unlocked gear. First I found Sierra's old blue boots of Even Footing, and there was a green Headgear of the Sylph that both Olivia and Sierra had outgrown. I also pulled out a storm-only Tunic of Discontent one of my sisters got in Mooshu and put away for me.

I looked pretty silly with my Skittles* gear so I ran straight to the dye shop. Never did like the purple and yellow gear I'd been wearing, but when I bought my last outfit from the Bazaar that had been the cheapest of the limited combinations available. I wanted to go back to the purple and black I'd started with, but she wanted over Ten. Thousand. Gold. just to dye the hat. Seriously? So I played around a little while (while Alex complained) trying to find a combo that I liked and that I could actually afford. Turns out light purple with white trim isn't too bad after all, under eight grand to dye the whole set.

So up we went, taking turns pulling levers. I wanted to try for the pets while we were at it so we hung around the top of the Counterweights until the bosses respawned and fought each of them again. Still no pets, but twice was the most we were willing to push it. We took turns spilling the milk in Big Ben - had to get those Crusher Crusher badges - and we both decided to pull out our minions at the same time. In other fights I've seen one minion replace an older one so we thought we could only put up one at a time, and we'd been careful to ask each other before throwing up our our minion. Surprise, it worked - we had both of them helping us, yay! Spike gave me some empty milk cartons, and Meowiarty dropped an ice-only ring, joy. Not sure if it's worth going back through that any time soon to see if he'll fork over a storm ring. At least when I reported back to Ambrose he taught me Wild Bolt. Looks like a great spell if I can ever get the darn thing to work.

*Skittles: visually mismatched gear. Newer wizards often put on whatever drops they can to improve their stats but can't afford to recolor it, ending up with multicolored outfits reminiscent of a pack of Skittles fruit candy.

@Silverheart - Know whatcha mean about Wild Bolt, I've only gotten it to work once so far. I figure it's worth a shot to start a battle with, if it works great, if not I need that extra round to build pips anyway (and I can usually spare the mana).
