For instance, when you teleport (in this case, to the Commons) instead of generic sparkles there's now a puff of smoke and a cloud of little colored symbols matching your school. Cute!

Next, they've added the closed fist damage symbol after the damage number during a battle. Only problem with that is this is a split screen of a single Ghoul spell. Ghouls do health stealing (broken heart) damage, not regular damage as shown here, while the green healing portion of the Ghoul has no symbol at all. Shouldn't the heal number have a heart after it, or a plus sign similar to Guiding Light's effect? If they're going to include symbols at all they should be consistent and correct across the board. Better yet, just drop the symbols, they only confuse things.

And the best of the unmentioned features - they've made screen shots a lot easier to find! (Cue trumpet fanfare.) Instead of wading through hidden program files to find your snapshots, the game creates a "Wizard 101" directory in your Pictures folder and drops them there, easy peasy.
Unfortunately, this also shows the down side of one of the new features - a constant barrage of wizards begging people to buy them gifts and scammers offering to trade treasure cards for gifts. Gifts were a nice idea in theory, but I really hope this one feature does not make it out of the test realms.

you like that? I despise the fact that the pictures are saved on your computer I save mine on my flash drive because ours is alomost out of memory so every time I go into save a picture I delet the folder but it alwas comes back grrr... I hope that that option is removable
I agree with you mostly. Although I like the gift option because you can trade things with your friends. But I hate the people begging for a mount. I just wanna yell WERE NOT GIVING YOU A MOUNT SO SHUT UP!

Yeah, It sounds ANNOYING! I like the gift option too. Now you can finally give me a 'moving in' present! JK, it's OK, I don't need one.
