Missed it by *that* much

Olivia (my Life mage) has been coming along nicely. She's my second Grandmaster, and just today finished the armor for her new Drake hatchling. She also finished her first Dragonspyre crafting quest, thanks to the new Transmute Diamond recipe that let her convert a stockpile of ore into those last few gems. Next up is crafting a pair of robes, which require a dozen Nature's Wrath treasure cards between them.

I've made treasure cards before, no big deal. I ran over to the Library in Wizard City and picked up a pile of Keen Eyes cards, then up to Golem Tower's first floor to make a batch of +10% accuracy Nature's Wrath cards. Then I checked the recipe again to see what else I needed, and it wasn't counting any of the cards I'd just make. (And yes, I took them all back out of the deck first.)

The cards the recipe calls for are only 90% accuracy, not 100% like my newly-minted cards, and they've got a higher damage than mine. sigh Looks like I should have used Tough instead of Keen Eyes, d'oh! But on second thought, Tough adds +75 damage, and the recipe cards aren't quite that strong, so that's not it either.

Yep, you guessed it - only the crafted Nature's Wrath treasure cards match the recipe! Dropped cards might work, but Wikia doesn't mention any creatures that drop them. And the Nature's Wrath recipe calls for a Leprechaun card, which is also crafted - with an Imp, which is both crafted and dropped. So, looks like I've got a ton of farming & crafting in my future, or a lot of time in the Bazaar.

So, today's lesson: When your recipe needs Treasure Cards, be sure you've got the right version. Kinda like the difference between semisweet chocolate chips vs. dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate; the cookies may all look the same but only one will taste the way it's supposed to.

I feel very, very sorry for you. I have never had that problem, but, that's just probably because I don't craft much.
