introduction

Hi there! I'm Sierra Starsong, Grandmaster Thaumaturge and Master of Ice. I was so excited when Sean asked me to join him as a guest blogger that I was beside myself - literally! That's how I started out on the left - hard to believe it was fifty levels ago - and my current look on the right. The little guy is Spike, my pet Ice Colossus; I found him right after I learned the Frost Giant spell. I love my current gear, don't get me wrong, I just wish my helmet didn't cover up my white hair.

Outside the game I'm an accounting clerk and mom to a W101 family - my husband's a Grandmaster Necromancer, and our three boys all play as well. Our oldest son started it, so before we let his little brothers play I set up a character to make sure it was really kid-friendly (that's a resounding yes) and now we're all hooked. For a game to appeal to so many different people, young and old both, it must really be magic!

Anyway, I've picked up a lot of tips and tricks along the way, little things I wish Ambrose had mentioned back when I first enrolled. I'll try to share some of those with you.
